eng Available Project Management Maturity Models Wordwide and its Comparison This paper examines the landscape of Project Management Maturity Models (PMMMs) and their limited use in practice, despite their potential to support continuous improvement in project management. Through an extensive literature review, the study distinguishes project success from project management success and highlights the role of organizational culture and structured processes in achieving both. It maps existing PMMMs, proposes a systematic classification, and compares their assessment criteria, including their relevance to emerging trends such as AI, digital transformation, sustainability, and project complexity. The study aims to clarify available PMMMs, support their practical adoption, and help organizations select models that best fit their project management approaches to enhance overall project success.
