eng Viscosity and crystal growth kinetics in GeSe2 amorphous chalcogenide glass The amorphous glass was annealed either ex-situ, in a furnace, or in-situ in a computer-programmable heating stage. The growing crystals were observed under an infrared microscope and the crystal growth rate was calculated from the change of length in time. The dependency of crystal growth rate on temperature was described by a proper kinetic growth model, which extrapolates growth data in a broad range of temperatures.
