eng Harnessing Surface Plasmon Resonance to Assess Antigen-Antibody Interactions in Immunosensor Design The study of interaction between antigen and antibody is crucial for development of functional immunosensor. High affinity antigen-antibody interaction could significantly influence the final sensitivity of developed sensor. Among other approaches, surface plasmon resonance (SPR) is sensitive method allowing the study of this interaction including kinetic studies and binding affinity determination. We used the SPR for selection of the antibodies for development of highly sensitive immunosensor for detection of inflammatory biomarker Pentraxin 3. Surface of the gold sensor slide was modified with carboxylic groups used for antibody immobilization. Surface plasmon resonance; Antibody; Antigen; Affinity interaction; Biomarker
