eng Luminescence of chalcohalide glasses doped with Pr3+ and Yb3+ ions. Chalcohalide glasses doped with Pr3+ and Yb3+ ions were prepared. Room temperature PL in near- and mid-IR regions was studied. The bands with maxima at ∼1.3, ∼1.6, ∼2.2, ∼2.4, ∼4 and ∼5m were found and ascribed to f?f electron transitions in Pr3+ ions. The intensity of emission bands near 1.3m increasses with doping by Yb3+ Chalcogenide glasses
