Today, the Ukrainian flag was raised at the Academic Square of the Faculty of Chemical Technology to show our solidarity with the people of Ukraine whose sovereignty is threatened by the imperial aspirations of the Russian Federation.
In this way, the management of the faculty shows sympathy with the people of Ukraine and with more than 300 Ukrainian students not only from the Faculty of Chemical Technology but also other faculties of the University of Pardubice. We are very pleased with the positive response of the Ukrainian students whose representative sent an electronic letter of thanks to the Dean’s Office of FChT.
The expression of solidarity with the nation that has been tested hard for almost centuries by the stronger neighbour is an empathetic act of sincere support, belonging and, above all, compassion for the oppressed.
