Research mainly concerns various applications of photoacoustics in the study of multilayer materials, especially thin polymer layers (including functional materials), and characterisation of materials in general, recently mainly focused on thermochromic systems.
A co-author of English-German-Czech Dictionary of Graphic Arts (Anglicko-německo-český polygrafický slovník) and Modern Graphic Arts (Moderní polygrafie). Editor of the Journal of Print and Media Technology Research.
