Štěrba); 1994-1995 Postdoc position Max-Planck-Institute, Colloid Chemistry Department, Potsdam, Germany (mentor: Prof. K. Tauer); 2007 DrSc. Slovak Technical University Bratislava, Slovakia. Profesional experience: 1984 Institute of Synthetic Resins and Lacquers Pardubice research worker; since 1990 Department of Organic Chemistry of VŠCHT Pardubice (at present time University of Pardubice); 1990 Assistant Professor, 1998 Associate Professor, 2008 Full Professor of Organic Chemistry and Head of the Department of Organic Chemistry and Technology. In the years 2000 and 2002 as a visiting scientist at the Max-Planck-Institute Potsdam (project “Biomineralization”).
