As an unforgettable reminder of the Pardubice Region published on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of higher chemical education in Pardubice, from May the website of CBS Publishing and later tourist centres and bookshops will offer an absolutely unique book “Pardubice region from heaven”.
This Czech-English publication offers unconventional aerial images of the Pardubice Region in its full beauty. The areas of the region such as the capital, Holice or Přelouč are captured from a bird’s eye perspective and provided with poetic and informational texts about the locations and natural beauties. The Faculty of Chemical Technology has become one of the main partners of the publication. The publication will be kept in the faculty depositary as an original gift for partners and Czech as well as international guests.
The publication is also unique due to one additional value. Today the whole world is affected by the pandemic of coronavirus and doctors, nurses, pharmacists and rescuers protect our health every day. It is imperative to help in any way possible. Therefore the management of CBS Publishing decided to support medical staff by a financial contribution from all proceeds from the sale of the book, which will go to hospitals in the Zlín Region, because this is one of the most affected regions in the Czech Republic and it is the home to CBS Publishing, who are just about to issue this book, which is part of an exceptional edition “Czechia from heaven”.
