The project deals with the setting of tools for strengthening the long-term relationships with customers based on integration and cooperation of the value network subjects via developing the strategic benefits for the customers in the value network from the producers up to the nal consumers in the product lines of chemical, pharmaceutical and petrochemical industries. The project will comprise of implementation of marketing researches, always with the products producers, their direct customers and the next-in-line customers. The researches will focus on exploring the current forms of the strategic benets provision in the value network, ways of providing them, searching their new forms, the conditions of their application, their influence upon firms' performance and competitiveness. The findings synthesis will issue in the elaboration of the system of the strategic benets appropriate in the researched industries to become tools for strengthening the long-term relationships with customers and enhancing strategic positions and performance of partners within the value network. 3
