New materials usable in various fields of human activity, especially in chemical and building industry, agriculture, medicine and environment protection will be synthetized and characterized within the scope of the project by Doctoral and Master?s degree students. Advanced ecological inorganic pigments, special fertilizers and soil conditioners, chalcogenide materials for optoelectronics and nanostructured materials for medical and diagnostic purposes, for plastic, coatings and building materials will be prepared and studied. Besides, new catalytic systems for petrochemical industry and transesterification and aldolization reactions will be developed and tested, new zeolitic structures for adsorption and separation of gases as well as alkali butanolysis of oils will be studied. Kinetics of selected drugs releasing from solid medicine forms will be measured and physico-chemical methods for removing fatty acids from vegetable oils will be verified.
