In the area of environmental and chemical engineering the project is focused on the technologies used for the pre-treatment and cleaning of the process, waste and municipal water using pressure driven membrane processes, diffusion dialysis, indirect electrochemical oxidation, heterogeneous photolysis of the phenols, and various biological methods. The project is currently focused on the analytical methods to evaluation types and concentrations of contaminants and on the methods of preparation and subsequent analysis of the samples relating to the protection of human health, the environment, and material analysis. Recently, we have seen that it is interconnection of businesses and integration thereof with other entities in the value network performance that has been more and more contributing to increasing the performance of these businesses. The aim of this collaboration is to reach the final customer loyalty that forms the basis for economic prosperity in the future. However, the whole effort must be exerted with regard to the burden on the environment as well as on their own employees. Therefore, the project focuses on the shift in the knowledge in selected areas of business management that may decisively contribute to increase the performance of the company (and the entire value network), namely on the value management, environmental and project management as well as partnerships among businesses, public administration and universities. Within the project, selected approaches, methods and tools of the corporate management areas are developed so as to provide actual improvement in the value network performance.
