Description:
In the area of environmental and chemical engineering the project is focused on the development and application methods and techniques used for the pre-treatment and cleaning of the process, waste and municipal water using pressure driven membrane processes, diffusion dialysis, indirect electrochemical oxidation, heterogeneous photolysis, and various biological methods. The project is currently focused on the analytical methods to evaluation types and concentrations of contaminants and on the methods of preparation and subsequent analysis of the samples relating to the protection of human health, the environment, and material analysis. In the field of value management, the research will focus on segmentation of clients of brick-and-mortar pharmacies and segmentation of car repair shops as motor oil distributors. Also, research will be carried out into purchase behaviour, preferences and satisfaction of Czech consumers with a range of vegetables in the market. Possibilities will be explored for application of hierarchical models in demand forecasting, possibilities of developing cooperation with suppliers of the enterprise and improving the "maintenance" process, including its economic aspects. Furthermore, the authors will examine ways to optimize inventory management of gas cylinders and possibilities for the development of rail freight transport of dangerous goods. Finally, they will also assess the reasons for evaluating the social impacts on stakeholder groups and the significance thereof in relation to CSR. To achieve these objectives, primary qualitative and quantitative research will be carried out.
