Description:
The proposed project belongs to organic chemistry and related technologies. The planned research activities are focused on basic and applied research. The project consists of the following current topics ? targeted synthesis of new organic compounds for the purpose of studying the mechanisms of their reactions, their use as new catalysts, biologically active substances, pigments and dyes, promising compounds with defined physical characteristics and compounds intended for research and development of new technology of organic substances and explosives with a view to their safe use. The main strategy of the project lies in the synthesis of polyfunctionalized organic compounds, as well as model compounds with specific properties. The research will be used experimental techniques, basic and applied research, such as optical and electron microscopy, NMR, X-ray, the measurement of particle size, specialized methods for measuring the application properties of compounds and materials.
