In the area of environmental and chemical engineering the project is focused on the development and application methods and techniques for the pre-treatment and cleaning of the process and municipal wastewater using pressure driven membrane processes, electro-membrane processes, diffusion dialysis, ion exchange, indirect electrochemical oxidation, chemical reduction, heterogeneous photocatalysis, adsorption, and various biological methods. The project is currently focused on the analytical methods to evaluation of types and concentrations of contaminants and on the methods of preparation and subsequent analysis of the samples as well as testing the behaviour of present species or solutions relating to the protection of human health, the environment, and material analysis. In the area of value management, the research will be focused on the study of subjects´ integration within value networks in creating value for customers, especially intangible aspects of value for customers in the chemical industry ? services for customer and branch and business reputation. Attention will be also focused on the level of corporate social responsibility reporting and usage of marketing communication tools for improvement of chemical industry enterprises´ reputation for the most important stakeholders. With the respect to the increasing of quality of services to customers, the cooperation in supply chain in the area of inventory management in enterprises of paper industry will be analyzed. As a part of the research in the area of value management, the specifics of the consumer chemicals purchase process of industrial food enterprises will be analyzed. There will also be evaluated the accounting an IT aspects of management in chemical industry. To achieve these objectives, primary qualitative and quantitative research will be carried out.
