In the area of environmental and chemical engineering the project is focused on the development and application methods and techniques for the pre-treatment and cleaning of the process and municipal wastewater using pressure driven membrane processes, electro-membrane processes, diffusion dialysis, ion exchange, indirect electrochemical oxidation, chemical reduction, heterogeneous photocatalysis, adsorption, and various biological methods. The project is currently focused on the analytical methods to evaluation of types and concentrations of contaminants and on the methods of preparation and subsequent analysis of the samples as well as testing the behaviour of present species or solutions relating to the protection of human health, the environment, and material analysis. In the area of value management, the research will be focused on the possibility of refinement of demand forecasts in the distribution intermediaries. The importance of logistics services and methods of its quality measurement in distribution chain, including customers, will also be examined. The research will be focused on the reputation of selected chemical industry companies and the tools of their improvement. Selected aspects of CSR application from the chemical companies? point of view will be evaluated. The level of communication of CSR activities in the international context will be analysed. In the social area of CSR the attention will be also focused on the possibilities of diversity management implementation. To achieve these objectives; primary qualitative and quantitative research will be carried out.
