Description:
In the area of environmental and chemical engineering the project is focused on the development and application methods and techniques for the pre-treatment and cleaning of the process and municipal wastewater using pressure driven membrane processes, electro-membrane processes, diffusion dialysis, ion exchange, indirect electrochemical oxidation, chemical reduction, heterogeneous photocatalysis, adsorption, and various biological methods. The project is currently focused on the analytical methods to evaluation of types and concentrations of contaminants and on the methods of preparation and subsequent analysis of the samples as well as testing the behaviour of present species or solutions relating to the protection of human health, the environment, and material analysis. In the area of value management, the research will be focused on the possibility of refinement of demand forecasts in the manufacturing enterprises. The possibilities of implementation of the servitization strategy in industrial enterprises will be analysed. Selected CSR issues will also be addressed. Examining financial and non-financial reporting, intensity and structure of CSR communication, context of application of CSR concept and corporate reputation, or implementation of new trends in HR management. To achieve these objectives; primary qualitative and quantitative research will be carried out.
