In new accredited courses in the Master program of Bioanalytical Laboratory Diagnostics in Health Care, the first year students are theoretically acquainted with immunological examination methods in clinical laboratories. In addition to the established methods, up to now cellular immunological methods have been taught mainly in seminars and practically only to a small extent and in the form of demonstration methods. In connection with the new study programs accredited according to the new University Act and the NAU standards, it is necessary to introduce these tasks into practical education within the compulsory subjects. This of course brings increased demands on equipping the laboratory with adequate laboratory equipment and facilities for a larger number of students. By introducing new tasks and expanding the capacity of existing tasks, students will gain a comprehensive view of the current range of examination methods of immunological laboratories in real practice.
