The research objectives of this project are focused on four different areas. The research in the field of catalysis, pharmacy, inorganic pigments and chalcogenide glasses. The field of catalysis is focused on research and characterization of promising catalysts based on zeolites and mixed oxides. Pharmacokinetic studies are focused on sustained release matrix tablets. The field of inorganic pigments is focused mainly on optical and physico-chemical properties, structure and thermal stability of new promising pigments. Within the study of chalcogenide glasses, the research is focused mainly on the study of crystallization, viscosity behavior and surface tension of these materials.
