Description:
The project is a joint project of two research departments, the Department of Inorganic Technology and the Department of Physical Chemistry. The project's research goals are focused on four main topics, which are intensively studied in the mentioned departments. Within the first topic, the research will deal with the preparation of the new promising catalysts and the description of their properties, as well as the study of the adsorption properties of zeolitic structures will be performed. The following important topic is based on pharmacokinetic studies dealing with the research of enterosolvent capsules prepared by 3D printing. Chosen pharmaceutical substances will be subjected to thermokinetic study and characterization with an emphasis on the study of crystallization kinetics in amorphous forms. In the research of chalcogenide glass-forming materials, the physical properties, especially of the thin layers of these materials, will be investigated. The main focus will be on viscosity, surface tension, and diffusion. These properties can be crucial for describing crystal growth in studied materials. As part of the last topic of the project, the preparation and characterization of inorganic pigments will be performed.
