eng The Photoacoustic Assessment of Printed Conductive Thin Layers Currently, the processes for manufacturing of printed functional layers are still being improved. For instance, the thickness of printed functional layer contributes significantly to the resulting physical properties of the printed system. The thickness can be determined either by mechanical (or optical) profilometers or by using e.g. spectroscopic methods, such as the UV-VIS or the photoacoustics. Since promising results have been obtained during the first photoacoustic measurements carried out on the spiral coated functional layers, further measurements have been intended. Therefore a set of samples varying in thickness was prepared via screen printing. The individual thicknesses were prepared using the sieves with different mesh densities (e.g. 62 per cm), where the highest mesh density corresponds to the lowest value of the layer thickness. The actual thickness of resulting layers ranged from approximately 200 nm to 1 μm.
