eng Photoacoustic Characterization of Flexible Organic Photovoltaic Cell The organic photovoltaics (OPV) is nowadays represented mostly by the bulk heterojunction cells on the base of P3HT and PCBM, acting as an active layer. Therefore it is thought to widespread this type of cells commercially in the near time. However, most of the cells are still prepared on glass substrate, rather in laboratory scale. For the future, the fabrication of OPV cells on flexible substrates is intended. For the production of flexible OPV the quality inspection will be needed. This paper focuses on the application photoacoustic method for the characterization of the functioning flexible bulk heterojunction cells prepared on the PET foil. The results obtained by means of photoacoustics are compared with other methods, such as UV-VIS spectroscopy, and the limitation of each method are discussed. The photoacoustics is capable to distinguish the each layer sequence of the cell spectrally, as wells as in the amplitude of the photoacoustic signal.
