eng Inkjet printability of poly(N-vinylpyrrolidone)-stabilized polyaniline dispersions The application of conducting polymers in the printed electronics has recently attracted a large attention of materials scientists. Especially their preparation and modification towards the design of printing inks is desired. The printability of poly(N-vinylpyrrolidone)-stabilized polyaniline (PANI/PVP) conducting colloidal dispersions using screen printing was proved. Here, we report on their application by means of inkjet printing technique. The aqueous PANI/PVP dispersions were printed on various flexible substrates, such as paper and PET foil. The influence of the iso-propanol addition during preparation, dispersion treatment, polymer concentrations and the use of additives as well as printing parameters on the layer homogeneity and resulting quality are discussed. For the characterization of the printed layers, the mechanical profiler, electrical measurements, optical microscopy, and spectroscopy in UV to NIR range were used.
