eng Hydrotalcite based Mg/Fe oxides with varying acido-basic properties Results on Mg/Fe oxides from LDHs prepared by co-precipitation method are presented. Materials are studied with respect to their phase purity (XRD) and textural properties (N2-BET). The effect of Mg/Fe salt anion (NO3- and Cl-) and the Mg/Fe ration on the resulting oxide acido-basicity are examined. The experimental methods FTIR, TPD (microcalorimetry) of selected probe molecules are implemented to obtain information about the amount and strength of active sites on the surface of an oxide.
