eng Mixed Mg/Fe oxides from hydrotalcites as catalysts for aldol condensation: Effect of Mg/Fe ratio In this contribution we performed the analysis of physicochemical and acido-basic properties of a series Mg/Fe mixed oxides and studied their activity and selectivity in the reaction of aldol condensation of furfural with acetone. Catalysts were characterized by number of techniques: XRD, N2-BET adsorption, TGA-MS for the physicochemical features, CO2 and NH3-TPD, CO2 and CO-FTIR for acidobasic features. mixed oxide; Mg/Fe; catalyst; aldol condensation
