eng	TiO2 P25 Nanoparticles Induce Mitochondrial Impairment and Alter Glutathione Synthesis in Neuronal Cells	In recent years, the production, use, and environmental presence of titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanoparticles (NPs) have steadily increased, raising concerns about potential human exposure. Due to their nanoscale size, TiO2 NPs can enter the human body through various routes, circulate via the bloodstream, cross the blood-brain barrier, and accumulate in the brain. Therefore, it is important to investigate the biological impact of TiO2 NPs on neuronal cells to better understand their possible neurotoxic effects. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of commercially available TiO2 P25 NPs on human neuroblastoma SH-SY5Y cells. The cells were exposed to TiO2 P25 NPs at concentrations ranging from 0 to 100 µg·mL⁻¹ for 24-72 hours. Multi-walled carbon nanotubes served as a positive control. Following incubation, we assessed oxidative stress by measuring glutathione levels, and glutamate-cysteine ligase catalytic subunit in cells. Moreover, we measured the mitochondrial respiration in intact SH-SY5Y cells. Our findings showed increased glutathione synthesis linked with increased glutamate-cysteine ligase catalytic subunit and mitochondrial damage in cells after exposure to the nanomaterials. In conclusion, TiO2 P25 NPs significantly impaired the mitochondrial respiration and altered glutathione levels in SH-SY5Y cells.	TiO2 nanoparticles; SH-SY5Y; mitochondrial impairment; glutathione
