The Faculty of Chemical Technology of the University of Pardubice Opens the University of the Third Age with a Cycle of Lectures “Chemistry for Life”.
In a popular way, the lectures will present to the general public the latest knowledge in the fields taught at the Faculty of Chemical Technology. Academic teachers from the faculties of the University of Pardubice and professionals from practice will present selected topics in an attractive way to overcome the negative attitudes of the lay public to chemistry.
The study at the University of the Third Age is the basis for continuous intellectual development of post-productive age citizens. This broadens their knowledge and especially encourages their interest in current affairs, practical use of the knowledge acquired and an active approach to life.
The U3A includes a total of 184 hours and is divided into four semesters:
- Chemistry, Health and the Environment
- Chemistry in the World of Food and Nutrition
- Chemistry in Services
