Field of study:
- study of the texture of porous (especially micro- and mesoporous) materials with controlled, or hierarchical porosity
- study of the structure and localization of surfactant sites by adsorption of small test molecules, microcalorimetric determination of adsorption heats and infrared spectroscopy
- study of adsorption and separation of industrially important substances and their mixtures and adsorptive removal of important pollutants
- fundamental studies and theoretical modeling of adsorption equilibria and mass transport through porous materials
- study of the structure of purposefully prepared oxo-complexes of transition metals anchored on the surfaces of inorganic supports using multi-spectroscopic and temperature-programmed methods
- study of catalytic activities and selectivities of solid heterogeneous catalysts in partial oxidations of organic substances study of acidity of solid materials
