Field of study:
- conversion of oils / fats as renewable raw materials into products used in industry (biofuels, biolubricants, biopolymers) in cooperation with other institutions
- study of conditions of these reactions (mostly catalyzed) - transesterification and epoxidation
- synthesis, characterization and testing of new types of heterogeneous catalysts
- development of new analytical methods purification of by-product (glycerol) using chemical and electrochemical methods (electrodialysis)
