The International Visegrad Fund (IVF) values

The International Visegrad Fund (IVF), established in 2000 by the Visegrad Group (V4) countries – Czechia, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia – promotes cooperation within the region and between the V4 and other countries, particularly the Western Balkans and Eastern Partnership regions. The Fund supports projects in areas like culture, education, innovation, democracy, public policy, environment, tourism, and social development. It achieves this through grants, scholarships, and artist residencies. The Fund's annual budget, consisting of equal contributions from V4 governments, is approximately €11 million.

Key Values and Priorities: 

  • Regional Cooperation:

    The Fund's primary goal is to foster closer cooperation among Visegrad Group countries and expand this cooperation to other regions. 

  • Promoting European Values:

    The Fund actively promotes European values like democracy, human rights, and the rule of law. 

  • Innovation and Development:

    The Fund supports projects that advance innovation, research, and entrepreneurship in the region. 

  • Social Development:

    The Fund prioritizes social issues, including inclusivity, intergenerational dialogue, and public health. 

  • Education and Capacity Building:

    The Fund invests in education and training to build capacity and develop skills within the region. 

  • Democratic Values and the Media:

    The Fund supports projects that promote civic engagement, transparency, and media literacy. 

  • Cultural and Historical Understanding:

    The Fund encourages projects that promote shared cultural and historical values. 

Fund Programs: 

  • Visegrad Grants:

    Support projects that foster cooperation among V4 entities in various fields. 

  • Visegrad+ Grants:

    Support projects in the Western Balkans and Eastern Partnership regions that contribute to democratization and transformation. 

  • Visegrad Strategic Program:

    Supports projects addressing annual strategic priorities of the Visegrad Group. 

  • Scholarships and Artist Residencies:

    Offer opportunities for individuals to engage in exchange programs and artistic collaborations.

Project INEDUIN4V4

Innovative education according to the needs of Industry 4.0 principles in V4 countries (INEDUIN4V4)

Project description

The goal of the research project is to identify the needs of the labor market in the context of new requirements resulting from changes associated with the implementation of Industry 4.0 principles. To propose innovative methods of education (expanding, enriching) respecting the needs of the labor market and the involvement of students. The project examines the needs of the labor market and the possibilities of applying the requirements of the labor market to the educational process and proposes to implement potential changes in study programs in the sector of the V4 countries.
