The University of Pardubice aims to co-ordinate its activities in the field of e-learning and thus to form an appropriate basis both for an integral system of the university distant education and its usage as a supplementary education for full-time study programmes. The paper deals with the problem issues of e-learning at the University of Pardubice in terms of its organizational and technical support provided by the University management, however, also from the point of view of the teachers using the PCs and networks in education.
