cze Magnetic and transport properties of Sb(2-x)Fe(x)Te(3) (0<x<0.02) Magnetization, electrical resistivity and Hall coefficient of single crystals Sb2-xFexTe3 (0<x<0.02) have been measured from 1.8 K to 300 K. Upon doping with Fe, the otherwise diamagnetic Sb2Te3 matrix becomes paramagnetic with contributions arising from the Curie-type and Van Vleck-type paramagnetisms. In contrast to the influence of Fe in Bi2Te3, we detect no presence of a magnetically ordered phase in Fe-doped Sb2Te3 down to 1.8 K. Doping with Fe appears to increase the concentration of holes in relation to the case of pure Sb2Te3 and the electrical resistivity increases throughout the temperature range studied.
