Fluidní vrstvu tvořily kulové částice, které byly fluidovány v kapalinách vykazujících newtonské a nenewtonské chování s cílem identifikace tvorby nehomogenit, struktury v této vrstvě a vizualizace toku kapaliny přes expandovanou vrstvu kulových částic. Reologické vlastnosti kapalin byly stanoveny na reometru RS150. Časový průběh experimentů byl zaznamenán pomocí videokamery a tyto záznamy vyhodnoceny pomocí metod analýzy obrazu. Porovnáním expanzních křivek použitých systémů a výsledků získaných pomocí analýzy obrazu bylo zjištěno, že rovnoměrná fluidace v newtonských kapalinách postupně přechází na agregativní fluidaci spojenou s tvorbou kanálů ve vrstvě, a to s rostoucími nenewtonskýmí anomáliemi použité fluidační kapaliny. Tento jev se projevuje výrazněji s rostoucí pseudoplasticitou a elasticitou kapaliny. Na základě vyhodnocení vizualizace toku kapaliny fluidní vrstvou bylo zjištěno, že v případě tvorby kanálů ve vrstvě, kapalina teče převázně těmito kanály. Pro popis pozorovaného snížení expanze vrstvy částic v nenewtonských kapalinách byl použit jednoduchý dvouzónový model.	Fluidace;Nenewtonská kapalina;Zónový model;Nehomogenity;Vizualizace toku
eng	Liquid-solid Fluidization: Effect of Rheological Behaviour of the Fluid on the Structure Development and the Expansion Reduction of Spherical Particle Bed	In process design calculation, the fluidization of monodispersed beds of solid particles with liquids is usually considered to be uniform. However, extensive investigations of expansion of beds of solid particles fluidized with different kinds of non-Newtonian liquids performed in our laboratory showed that the expansion course had depended in a great measure on rheological behaviour of the fluid. In our contribution, an experimental study was carried out to identify inhomogeneities and structure of fluidized beds of solid-liquid systems in which the suspending liquid exhibited both Newtonian and non-Newtonian rheological behaviour. The fluidization of the solid particle bed was carried out in the transparent Perspex test column of rectangular cross-section. The beds of particles were composed of nearly uniform glass spheres with diameter from 1.4 to 4 mm. As test liquids were used aqueous solutions of Maltose, polyalkylene glycol Emkarox, hydroxyethyl-cellulose Natrosol and polyacrylamide Praestol. The aqueous solutions of Maltose and of Emkarox exhibited Newtonian behaviour and aqueous solutions of Natrosol and Praestol exhibited non-Newtonian behaviour. The rheological properties of test liquids were measured using rotational rheometer RS 150. The flow visualization was carried out using alternative pumping of colored liquid under fluidized bed distributor. The video sequences of expanded beds were obtained by miniDV camera Canon M250i and evaluated by an image analysis. The expansion curves were compared for the fluidization with Newtonian, pseudoplastic and viscoelastic liquids. The expansion curves obtained for fluidization with Newtonian fluids are straight lines, which give evidence to uniform fluidization. With the increasing liquid shear thinning and elasticity, expansion curves are nonlinear and fluidization becomes aggregative.
