eng	Surface Tension Measurement and Ink/Paper Interaction	We studied the ink/paper interaction of the set of gloss and matt coated papers and offset and flexography printing inks. Test methods providing relevant properties of studied materials were used together with measurement of the contact angles of ?sessile? drop of standard liquids on tested solid surfaces. We suggested the optimal procedure for measurement and evaluation of the surface tension of printing papers and followed the ink wetting process on these substrates and relations between ink wetting process and its surface tensions of inks and papers.	surface tension, ink/paper interaction, printing ink, contact angle
