eng Electrochemical Immunomagnetic Biosensor for Protein Detection Nowadays, the detection of low concentrations of biologically important compounds in complex biological material is of great importance. Moreover there is a continuous push to miniaturize and integrate as many laboratory instrumentation pieces as possible to one tube. This work is focused on construction of electrochemical immunosensor for detection of proteins even in biological fluids. For this purpose, the following approaches are combined:the principle of bioaffinity, utilization of superparamagnetic microspheres for specific antibody immobilization and an electrochemical detection (voltammetric). The examined model system consisted of rabbit anti-ovalbumin IgG (primary antibody), protein Ovalbumin (determined antigen) and secondary rabbit anti-ovalbumin IgG labelled with horseradish peroxidase.
