eng CaSnSiO5 with LANTHANOIDS This work is concentrated in actual synthesis of Cr – doped malayaite pigments – CaSnSiO5, which were synthesized via solid state reaction. Basic substances were mixed with stoichiometric mass and homogenized. The reatctionary mixture was exposed to the calcination process in electric furnace at temperatures about 1350 – 1500°C for two hours. It was applied two tests – the application into the organic matrix and the application into the ceramic glaze. Color characteristics were described on the base of color area CIE L*a*b* and they were measured by spectrophotometer ColorQuest XE (HunterLab., USA). This study was concentrated in rating of color hue and satiety of CaSn0,895Cr0,005Ln0,1SiO4,9475 pigments too. 15 individual elements (lanthanoids) were added in the form of powder oxides in the basic mixture.
