eng Convective heat rate change efficiency of mixing ventilation system at cooling-off regime The requirements for indoor air quality of an enclosed space in residental buildings should satisfy optimal thermal conditions for occupants of naturally ventilated or airconditioned rooms. The aircondition or ventilation unit supplies inside the fresh air in order to meet all requirements prescribed nowadays in technical standarts on national and international level. In this work is presented the evaluation method of the effectivness of ventilation unit in cooling-off regime of an enclosed space. There were investigated thermal states, in which the ventilation system acts on behalf of cooling-off regime in order to remove heat amount accumulated in the occupied space during the day-light period. This led to readjusting of air inlet parameters according to the energy considerations in the cooling-off period. A case study of a naturally ventilated office room presents a suitable variable based on Nusselt modulus upon which the ventilation may enhance its performance.
