eng	Cassiterite Pigments with Cr	The aim of this work was to verify and to work up conditions for synthesis of compounds of the basic chemical formula Sn1-xCrxO2. Pigments were synthesized by using high-temperature procedure. Temperatures of a pigments synthesis, e.i. calcinations of starting mixtures were chosen as 1350, 1400, 1450, 1500, 1550 and 1600°C. Amount of chromium as a doping agent were selected as x = 0.001; 0.003 and 0.005. Oxides of Tin(IV) and Cr(III) in a powdered form were used as a starting mixture.
