eng	Flocculant, process of its preparation and use	The present invention relates to a flocculant containing at least one humic acid with at least one reactive dye chemically adsorbed thereon. The present invention further also relates to a process for preparing such flocculant wherein the preparation process comprises: adding a sodium or potassium salt of at least one humic acid into water containing at least one reactive dye; adjusting pH value to the value of 9 or higher; heating the mixture at a temperature ranging from 80 to 100 degC for a period of at least 1 hour; subsequently, cooling the mixture to a temperature lower than 40 degC and adjusting the pH value thereof to the value less than 2.5; carrying out flocculation of the so formed precipitate by further cooling the mixture under perpetual stirring to a temperature lower than 30 degC; ; and subsequently, isolating the resulting precipitate of the humic acid with at least one reactive dye bonded thereon by chemical adsorption by filtration. The invented process for preparing flocculant is at the same time an effective method of purification wastewater from the production and use of the reactive dyes.
