eng Remarkable Silyl Group Migration Processes within the Group of Various Lithium Guanidinate Complexes Metal guanidinates, together with amidinates,and -diketiminates, are members of class of compounds which reveal cyclic structures with a high conjugation of -electrons within the monoanionic ligand backbone and attracted much attention mainly due to possible stabilization of low valent metal centers and reactive intermediates. Guanidinato mono- and dianionic ligands are at least numerous but most impressive representative of the structural family of rich -electron N-C-N systems with the fundamental N-C(N)-N arrangement. In this particular presentation, different migration processes of various silyl groups during the attempts to synthesize new lithium guanidinates as precursors for metal complexes will be reported.
