eng	Explosives education in the Czech Republic	A short history and background of education in the area of chemistry and technology of explosives in the former Czechoslovakia is presented. Also is given the overview on the current state of the teaching in this specialization in the Institute of Energetic Materials (IEM) at the University of Pardubice. Several recent projects, which were solved at the IEM, and also cooperation with abroad partners are mentioned here. Two main outputs of this cooperation are presented, whereby history and actual state of one from them, i. e. of international seminars New Trends in Research of Energetic Materials (www.ntrem.com), is described. 46 slides, 45 minutes of presentation.
