eng Understanding of the exponential increase of the DC conductivity in the chalcogenide glasses with increase of the dopant content In the chalcogenide glasses there were observed exponential increase of the DC ionic conductivity (as well increase of the diffusion coefficient) with increase of the dopant content (Ag, Cu...). The region of the exponential increase is assigned to the dopant concentration roughly between 3 at. % to 40 at. %. [1]. Origin of the phenomena was already studied and modeled [2, 3]. Author is driven by curiosity and would like to listed the parameters affecting the DC ionic conductivity and discuss their relation to the exponential increase of the DC conductivity mentioned above. The parameters are: (Distribution of Activation Energies, Ion-Ion interaction, number of free sites in glassy matrix for dopant introduction, glassy matrix changes induced by dopant introduction…).
