Mephenoxalone is an active substance in neuropharmaceuticals and tranquilizers that is used to treat anxiety in humans. In this work, the electrochemical oxidation of this drug was studied for the first time and a method for its determination using BDDE was developed. The proposed procedure was transferred to printed sensors and successfully applied in the analysis of model solutions, pharmaceutical preparations, and especially of human serum.
