eng Novel analytical approach for voltammetric determination of thiophthalimide fungicides captan and folpet in non-aqueous electrolytes First voltammetric approach for determination of fungicides captan (CPT) and folpet (FLP) employing non-aqueous electrolyte and solid working electrode (glassy carbon electrode) is introduced. Both analytes provided unstable responses in aqueous supporting electrolytes. Dimethylformamide (DMF) with 0.1 M LiClO4 was found as a suitable environment. CPT provided one-well-developed cathodic signal (−1,39 V). FLP provided three signals at about −1,04 V, −1,34 V, and −1,67 V and the less negatively situated one was found convenient for analytical purposes. Differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) under optimized conditions was ascertained as a sensitive analytical tool for determination of both analytes with good results.
