eng The first study of oxidation of systemic herbicide dicamba and its voltammetric determination on boron-doped diamond electrode This study presents the first electrochemical investigation and voltammetric determination of the systemic herbicide dicamba (DCB) using a boron-doped diamond electrode (BDDE). Owing to its volatility and water solubility, DCB poses environmental risks, especially due to its increased use in genetically modified crops. A fundamental electrochemical study using cyclic voltammetry revealed a single anodic peak at ~+1900 mV in 0.1 mol L⁻¹ H₂SO₄. The developed method, optimized via differential pulse voltammetry (DPV), showed excellent sensitivity (LOD = 2.65×10⁻⁷ mol L⁻¹), repeatability (RSD ≤ 2 %), and recovery (up to 103.2 %). The approach proved effective for analyzing both single- and multi-component formulations, offering a fast and sensitive alternative to chromatographic techniques. dicamba, voltammetry, boron-doped diamond electrode, electrochemical oxidation, environmental analysis, pesticide detection
