The growing importance of lipidomics in biomedical and clinical research increases the demand for analytical approaches that are both high-throughput and capable of delivering detailed, quantitative molecular information. This lecture addresses whether it is feasible to integrate rapid, large-scale analytical workflows with comprehensive lipid quantitation across diverse lipid classes. Key aspects include optimization of sample preparation, the use of advanced separation techniques such as UHPLC and SFC/MS, and strategies to shorten analysis time without compromising structural specificity or quantitative accuracy. The presented results demonstrate that the combination of high-throughput performance and in-depth lipidomic coverage is achievable through modern mass spectrometry platforms and standardized protocols, enabling robust quantification of a wide range of lipid species in extensive clinical cohorts lipidomics; high-throughput analysis; lipid profiling; UHPLC; SFC/MS; mass spectrometry
