The subject was the transition of companies to a circular economy, implemented circular activities, obstacles, perceived opportunities. The research results demonstrate various approaches of companies, both proactive and passive approaches to the implementation of the circular economy, combining traditional practices with innovative approaches. Perceived obstacles include, for example, financial constraints, insufficient legislative support and technological limitations, while perceived opportunities include maintaining competitiveness, reducing costs, new partnerships, and innovating business models.	circular economy; circular business models; sustainability; Czech industry
