eng Usage of Recycled Fibres for Production of Sack Paper This paper is devoted to the utilization of secondary fibres for the production of sack paper. The effect of the addition of waste papers to the virgin kraft pulp upon the tensile properties, air permeability, and sizing was investigated. Waste papers, namely postconsumer corrugated board (quality class A5), and cutoffs obtained from corrugated board never used (quality class A6), were chosen as a resource of secondary fibres. Using handsheet former, handsheets having a basis weight of about 70 g/m2 were made from the virgin kraft pulp, waste paper A5, and waste paper A6. The mixtures containing from 10 to 90 % of waste papers were tested as well. sack paper; secondary fibres; tensile properties; air permeability
