Here we present using ZnO nanoparticles in polymer matrix for piezoelectric sensor applications. However, for optimal results, it is necessary to manage synthesis of different morphology. We report method of ZnO synthesis by precipitation from aqueous solutions of zinc acetate by OH- ions. We have studied, how synthesis parameters can affect product morphology and composition and its performance in composite. We can effectively prepare different particle shapes of pure ZnO with high yield. Synthesized ZnO and prepared composites were studied by SEM (size and morphology of particles), XRD (phase identification, crystallite size).
