eng Conformal printing of functional structures on 3D shaped objects and techniques for creation of related 3D models In recent years there is increased number of various applications, where the functional printing on 2.5D and 3D surface is used. In presented talk there will be discussed several types of conventional techniques (pad printing, screen printing, Soft Blanked Gravure, Inkjet) which can be used for printing on 2.5D/3D shaped object/surfaces. Alongside mentioned conventional high throughput techniques, some others as Aerosol Jet printing, Microdispensing, Microspraying, Electrohydrodynamic Printing are growing is usage as a power laboratory tools for research and development of new types of functional printing applications - like printed electronic, bioprinting, 3D functional printing. Advantages and drawbacks deposition techniques will be mentioned too. It have to mentioned that only few selected techniques (Pad Printing, SBC, AJP ) does not require knowledge of precise topology for such tasks. On the other side even for given techniques knowledge of shape of overprinted object is advantage too. From this reasons and just because various types of printed structures requires fine line structure, the knowledge of precise surface topology is important. Because many techniques needs to follow precisely the surface of substrate during printing meaned that the printing head/nozzle have to be only in tens micrometers above the printing substrate to obtain high quality prints. From the reason the high quality 3D model of printing substrates have to be build before each printing task. In the presentation brief overview of techniques of 3D model creation will be mentioned with focus to Photogrametry technique. For given technique will be discussed results obtained by used own developed Photogrametry Scanner Machine. Given technique with using proper software (Reality Capture) allowed to build high quality models with realistic texture. This is very important form point of view of printing on given 3D shaped substrate, but second fold is even from side of making of visual preview Microdispensing; Printed Sensor; Precise Agriculture; Conformal Printing; Printed Electronics
