eng Epoxidation of Methyl esters of Camelina sativa oil as a Second-generation Biofuel Source The main target of this work is to monitor the composition of the reaction products in detail after epoxidation of methyl esters of Camelina sativa at various reaction conditions (reaction time, temperature, the ratio of reactants, etc.). Several analytical methods, such as gas chromatography with mass detector, infrared spectroscopy with attenuated total reflection and Raman spectroscopy, were used to identify individual reaction products. Statistical analysis of data (principal component analysis and multilinear regression analysis) revealed that the reaction time and temperature had the highest impact on the composition of products (whether once- or multi- epoxidized esters were identified). epoxidation; camelina sativa oil; biofuel
